Normal? Festival of the Brain's ‘A Series of Fortunate Events’ is taking place in Folkestone, on 8th & 9th December 2023!
Following a year of unexpected twists and turns for Normal?, in what are incredibly tough times for us all - these events will be a cosy acknowledgment of resilience and include: a workshop, a performance, talks, food and a special neuro-spicy dancing event.
The concept of wintering has been the driving force behind much of Normal?'s work this year, as we have quietly gone on behind the scenes. This small series of events will be tonally going against the usual noise and speed that December and its festivities can bring.
Event info will be detailed in our next message to you, including chances to get involved before the 8th Dec.
If you would like to help us by volunteering for an hour or much more, please do get in touch by emailing normal@livingwords.org.uk.
Normal? Festival of the Brain is led by Living Words, partnering with Screen South and taking place at new and inclusive venues across Folkestone.

MORE THAN EVENTS…
We want everybody to feel as involved as they want to be in our festival. We are committed to saying “Yes” whenever we can. So, outside of the programme of events and activities which are set - you can get involved in our WRITING SPACE, and our PODCASTS.
The podcast venture is being led by members of our young teams and festival volunteers.
